JAVED SIDDIQUI
President of B&Z Technologies
Mr.
Javed Siddiqui has over 35 years of experience in developing
and innovating cutting-edge microwave and millimeter wave
amplifier technology. Over that time, Mr. Siddiqui has gained
recognition by his peers as a leading authority for his work
and success in this field. He is currently the President and
primary technology development resource for B&Z Technologies
LLC, a company Mr. Javed Siddiqui established in 2001.
Mr. Siddiqui’s career started in 1973 after he earned his BS in Engineering from California State University and his MS in Electrical Engineering at Pennsylvania State University.
After his academic achievements Mr. Siddiqui worked with Microwave Semiconductor Corp. where he developed their high power broad band amplifier product line. That theoretical work, and its practical implementation led to the introduction of a “Generalized Synthesis Technique for Broad Band Circuits.” The work he authored was presented at an IEEE Solid State Circuits Conference and also published in IEEE’s Proceedings and in various other microwave journals.
Mr.
Siddiqui was employed with Alpha Industries where he set up
Alpha’s amplifier product line. After his time at Alpha
Industries, Mr. Siddiqui was employed by Miteq Inc., of Hauppauge,
NY. His employment at Miteq lasted for more than 27 years.
Over that time he initiated and implemented a program to design,
develop and bring to market Miteq’s highly successful,
AMA, AFD, AFS and JS amplifier product lines. Mr. Siddiqui
made significant contributions in Miteq’s establishment
as a leader in the fields of microwave and millimeter-wave
amplifier technology. He was responsible for the adaptation
of Miteq’s amplifier product line to accommodate the
very high reliability requirements essential for space applications.
In
1999, Mr. Siddiqui established Miteq’s Fiber Optic division.
He was responsible for securing Miteq’s single largest
contract. The contract required an accelerated program to
design, develop and initiate the manufacture of wide band
modulator drivers used in fiber optic links. Under his leadership
and direction, the product design, the required special manufacturing
processes and the initial production were all accomplished
and successfully implemented within the first four months.
The program was highly successful and demonstrated Miteq’s
capability to handle volume manufacturing in a new market
area which demanded competitive pricing and very high reliability.
The production phase continued for more than two years. For
recognition of his contributions in the advancement of circuit
designs for fiber optic technology, Mr. Siddiqui received
IEEE’s Hirsch Award.
In 2001, Mr. Siddiqui founded B&Z Technologies as an independent consulting firm dedicated th the advancement of design and development of ultra low noise amplifiers, ultra wide band amplifiers and related microwave products. Until 2005, B&Z Technologies continued consulting solely with Miteq in a joint venture relationship.
In 2006, B&Z Technologies moved into its current location at the Long Island High Technology Incubator, 25 Health Sciences Drive, Stony Brook, NY 11790. Mr. Siddiqui and B&Z Technologies have recently developed state-of-the-art microwave and millimeter wave amplifiers. They are superior to other amplifiers on the market and are competitively priced.
